New Community Extended Care offers a structured daily activity program and recreational services to keep residents in long-term care stimulated. This helps those with and without cognitive impairment. All residents receive nutritious meals and snacks based on their needs.

New Community Extended Care caters to all religious affiliations. The facility has a chapel with a chaplain and Catholic priest in-house and Catholic mass is offered to residents. The chapel is also available for all religious services. The facility arranges for transportation of Mulsim patients to attend services on Friday at a nearby mosque.

New Community Extended Care has a multitude of professionals involved in resident care, including registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), dieticians, recreational services, psychiatrists, psychologists, dentists, ophthalmologists, vascular services, wound care, lab services, Optum nurse practitioners, Director of Nursing, Administrator, physicians, etc.

Yes. New Community Extended Care holds weekly care plan meetings, as well as quarterly Family Nights that include educational resources and information sharing about new services at the facility.
